Artist's Statement
Set in an airport’s "Lost & Found" zone, eleven lost and
searching souls emerge from the shelves of unclaimed things:
- A young Muslim redefines her American dream of Milk and Honey
- Suburban Tammy tackles Swedish in Stockholm while her daughter goes
sacred in South Dakota
- Office peon Bill E. gets stumped by the loss of his keys
- Jazzy Betty D. sings love in a lost note
- Anonymous drops more than a wallet
- An exiled Russian finds the past in a coffee cup, and more...
Inspired by the true stories of people caught in flight or in search
of a home, Lost and Found is a comical and insightful show about life’s big questions and the small stuff that
ties us together.
Reviews
"On a cold Buffalo day, Francine Conley came into town and heated things
up at Alleyway Theatre with LOST AND FOUND, her surprising one-person show. The script was smart, funny and touching;
her portrayals of a wide range of characters were thoroughly engaging and the transformations from one character and moment
to the next were flawless. It made me wish it were longer. Catch it if you can." --Neal Radice, Artistic Director, Alleyway
